28.12., 40 minutes cross, -1 centigrades
Am Monday, 29. Dec 2008 im Topic 'x-mas diary'
It was freezing - or so it seemed (I did'nt know how cold it would be the other day). After a demanding run across the vinyards and fields, my father and I started a day-trip to Saarbrücken. We had planned this for a long time. Our aim was to get photographs of the villages around that area which came into existing during the industrial revolution. Our hands nearly froze off during the photo-session, but the results were worth it!

26.12.: choppy, sunny morning
Am Friday, 26. Dec 2008 im Topic 'x-mas diary'
7:52 - 8:35 a.m., - 1 centigrade.
A almost stormy morning, chilly, cloudless. I watched the break of dawn through the windows of our living room, and, after a first cup of coffee, went out for a 40minutes run. on my way back, behind some vineyard-fields, I could see several crows and a buzzard 'playing' in the wind.

25.12., 55 minutes, foggy
Am Thursday, 25. Dec 2008 im Topic 'x-mas diary'
around 3 °C, misty fields, muddy paths = fun;

I was just listening to the music for the first 20-25 minutes. When I reached the turning point of the route I had chosen to take this morning I saw shafts of sunlight breaking through the clouds, colouring the hilltops in a golden glaze. From the nearest village I could hear a church bell and several miutes later I met some people which seemed to be on their way to the small churchyard at the centre. And past I went, out in the fields again which turned out to be so muddy I hardly could lift my feet or move properly - it took me some minutes to get the clay off my shoes while running. Back in our own little village, I took the small streets that surround the backery and postal office, before finally reaching the road back to my parents house. After 2 minutes of streching I was heading for a long and hot shower, breakfast and a chat with my brother.
